Coles Creek State Park is located in Waddington, New York. The Park sits along the St. Lawrence River on the west bank of Coles Creek and is a popular location for boating, fishing, and camping.
Activities at the park include camping, seasonal waterfowl and deer hunting, fishing and ice fishing. The Park offers great views of the St. Lawrence River where visitors can sit back and watch the big tankers move down the river.
The park offers a beach, picnic tables with pavilions, a playground, a nature trail, recreation programs, a campground with tent and trailer sites, showers, dumping station, a marina and boat launch with dockage and boat rentals, and a food concession. Seasons/Operating Hours: The park open in mid-May and closes after Columbus Day. Waterfowl hunting is permitted in season. Deer hunting is allowed in season in a designated area south of Route. 37. Restrictions: Household pets only; caged or on a leash not more than 6 feet. Not permitted in picnic or bathing areas. Must have proof of current rabies vaccination; certificate of inoculation or dated collar tag. A pet-free camping loop is offered.
