Cayuga Lake State Park is located on the northwest shores of Cayuga Lake near Seneca Falls, New York. The Park provides expansive views of Cayuga Lake, one of the largest lakes within the Finger Lakes region. The park offers a long list of activities with year-round availability and many of the local businesses surrounding the park cater to the needs of tourists. Visitors can choose from the many Bed and breakfasts and local motels that dot the landscape.
Fishing is a popular activity at the lake and anglers enjoy catching largemouth and smallmouth bass, northern pike, walleye, landlocked salmon, rainbow trout and brown trout. Charter fishing operations are available for visitors, Other activities include camping and walking the nature trail, or sledding, cross-country skiing and ice fishing in the winter months. The park also has a playground and playing field.
The park has a beach, a playground, playing fields, picnic tables and pavilions, recreation programs, a nature trail, showers, a boat launch, a dump station, cabins, tent and trailer campground. There is a shaded vacation rental located off Lower Lake Road on Cayuga Lake. The vacation rental has a fully enclosed porch offering a view of the lake. The vacation rental is available year-round. The park is open all winter. Restrictions: Household pets only; caged or on a leash not more than 6 feet. Proof of rabies inoculation.
